4th July 2014 Windsurfing: Felixstowe Dip Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: F2-4 Surf / Sea State: Moderate Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: warm Weather: Sunny Max Speed: 9.86 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 0.581 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Arrived 4pm hoping the wind lasted. There were 4 sailors belting along and plenty of white caps, but by the time I rigged 8.7 H2/146L excite ride pro it was game over and wind died. 3 long bd cruisers Andy Mex Pete G and Squiz were about to give up so I knew I was too late. Hung around another hour with Ian and it filled a little so sailed 500 metres to test but not enough. Plenty of sailors and chat on a sunny Friday evening made it less disappointing |
